Habitat for Humanity (Fox Valley IL) - worked on project house as a carpenter & responsible for "connecting" children’s author Wanda Jones with Executive Director Ron Kelso that led to the publishing of Habititus Fever
Brady/Bardwell Gift Mart (Aurora, IL) - volunteer as security and translator
Feed My Starving Children (Aurora, IL) - volunteer packing food
Chicagoland Toys for Tots - Active member, liaison and coordinator
Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run - Active member, liaison and coordinator
CMA Christian Motorcycle Association (Chariots for Christ-Aurora Chapter) - Serviced as Vice President, Treasurer (local Chapter) & Liason to several community organizations including Chicagoland Toys for Tots & Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run. As Treasurer, I was responsible for a new annual report that provides for greater accountability. Also, implemented innovated ways to save money. One example is over $200.00 annually by changing existing e-marketing program to MailChimp.
Inspiration Ministries, Walworth, WI - annual fundraising event for disabled adult facility
Mission Possible, Aurora, IL - Volunteer - interdenominational parachurch organization that provides: free health care services (including medical, dental, vision, orthopedic, and diabetes education), addictions recovery ministry (including lay counseling, mentorship, life skills coaching), formal Bible training and discipleship, financial counseling, resume assistance, tax preparation assistance, haircuts, and other outreach and fellowship activities designed to impact the specific needs of those within the heart of Aurora.
